The key to the success of your blog

Keep it to yourself
A blog is more successful when it is personal. Try to include personal experiences related to the topic of your blog post. Avoid professional writing. Write in a more personal style and use a first-person narrative. Don’t write your articles as sales letters, but instead share product reviews and personal endeavors. Comments are welcome.

Try to find unique information that few people have. Do not reveal confidential or secret information that would be considered illegal or could get you in trouble, but try to find out before anyone else. Example: If your blog is about Paris Hilton (a celebrity) and you have a post about “Paris Hilton’s Wedding,” it would be interesting for your readers if you had a real photo of Paris Hilton’s engagement ring. Make an effort to search the Internet for exclusive information and you will probably find something useful. Your readers will love it and express their appreciation through word of mouth. Imagine how many readers will tell their friends, family, and others information they can only find on your blog.

Earn money
Once your blog is really gaining momentum and traffic is increasing, it’s time to think about turning your traffic into profit. You should use contextual advertising like Google Adsense or Chitika. Contextual advertising generally consists of text links that use your blog content to deliver targeted advertisements on your blog. The payout is usually based on a pay-per-click model, meaning for ever click an ad receives you are paid a small percentage of the profits. In addition to contextual advertising it is good to also use graphical advertising such as: BlogAds.com, Amazon.com, Mamma Media, or General Sponsored Advertising.
